Billy Davies believes his Nottingham Forest side can boost their Championship survival hopes - by knocking Sheffield United off their promotion course.
The Reds moved out of the bottom three in the table with a dramatic win over Bristol City at The City Ground on Saturday.
They don't have any time to rest on their laurels with a game against United at Bramall Lane this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
United are the Championship's form team, having taken maximum points from their last five games which has moved them up to third in the table.
But Forest boss Davies will head up the M1 this afternoon in bullish mood.
He said: "We're at the stage of the season where games really mean something and Monday's will be no exception.
"We're fighting for our lives and don't expect any favours from anyone.
"We have to earn the right to stay in this division ourselves.
"We'll keep working hard, we'll get ourselves well prepared for another difficult game but it's one we can certainly win, there's no doubt about that.
"We'll go up there and have a right go at trying to get three points."
Davies added: "I'm very confident and comfortable about our chances of staying up because we're doing the right things and working on the right things.
"And we're getting a great response from everybody.
"There's a great energy about the club, in terms of the fans, the players, backroom staff and everyone at The City Ground.
