Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies could not hide his delight at securing the services of Queens Park Rangers striker Dexter Blackstock.
The 22 year old completed his loan move until the end of the season today and Davis enthused: "I'm sure he will prove to be a great acquisition.
"It's no secret that we have been looking for a certain type of striker and Dexter certainly fits that bill.
"I've been watching him with great interest for several seasons and he's got all the attributes of a top striker.
"Most importantly he scores goals but he's also got presence and good movement in his play.
"In addition to getting goals himself I'm sure he will provide a lot of openings for others."
Blackstock will train with his new Forest team mates for the first time on Monday.
